What PB (PopsicleBoat) has been up to the last couple weeks
A batch of small changes, mostly about putting things where they belong.
If your thread belongs to a blog post, the email about a new reply now carries two links: the thread here, and the post there. Cards on the boat do the same thing. A thread that serves a blog page sends readers to the page, while the reply count is a way back to the conversation.
Companion threads open in your words. A thread minted for a blog post used to open with boilerplate. Now it opens with the post's own description. Whatever you wrote in your page's meta tags. Existing threads were cleaned up and backfilled for consistency (also, the cleaned-up ones were all mine anyway, so with editorial control I decided to clean them up).
Profiles got shorter. A profile shows each space's few most recent posts with a door to the rest, instead of everything at once.
Threads can now move. If a post landed in the wrong space, it can be moved entirely. All replies, links, everything. Old links keep working. For now that's a lever only I can pull, it's super-admin territory. If something of yours is in the wrong room, say so.
There's also a longer story about robots on my blog, if you like that sort of thing: Ninety-seven ghosts and one human.
